Silly Goose is the app that remembers before it costs you

A free iPhone app that keeps an eye on your contracts, subscriptions, documents and appointments, and reminds you in time: before a renewal, a notice period, an expiry date.

Instead of the gym contract that quietly renewed for another year, or the passport that ran out two weeks before the trip, you get one calm reminder while there is still time to act.

  • Write one line, share a PDF or a photo, forward an email: it reads the small print and works out the dates
  • Connect an Outlook or Hotmail inbox and it finds your contracts and subscriptions by itself
  • Cancelling, helped: the right cancellation page, a ready-made letter, a follow-up two weeks later
  • No ads, no tracking, nothing sold. Delete everything with one button

Free today, on iPhone, in seven languages. Nothing to sign up for.

The Nest: what to do, what is coming up, and what it all costs per month

What does Silly Goose keep an eye on?

Four kinds of things, all with a date that can cost you if it slips.

  • SubscriptionsNetflix, Spotify, the gym. What they cost, when they renew, which ones you are keeping.
  • ContractsPhone, internet, insurance, rent. Minimum terms and notice periods turned into one "act by" date.
  • DocumentsPassport, ID, driving licence, residence permit. Reminders months before expiry, not days.
  • AppointmentsThe dentist, a class, a train. Caught from a confirmation email or your calendar.
Everything: every tracked item, filtered by kind, with a search

How do I get things into it?

However the information reaches you, there is a one-tap way to hand it over.

  • Write it down"Netflix 14.99, renews the 5th" or "dentist Tuesday 9am". Silly Goose works out what it is and what matters.
  • Share a PDF or photoFrom Mail, Files, WhatsApp or the camera. Duration, notice period and price are read from the document itself.
  • Forward an emailSave Silly Goose as a contact and forward any confirmation. Only the facts are kept, never the email.
  • Connect an inboxOutlook or Hotmail: a one-time sweep of the last year, then a quiet daily check for new mail.
  • Pick from a listTap the services you have. Prices are filled in for your country; you fix the ones that differ.
  • Import your calendarUpcoming appointments from the Calendar app in one tap. Holidays and birthdays stay out.
Catch something: write one line, pick from a list, photograph a document or forward an email

Does it really read the small print?

Yes, and it does the arithmetic. A contract that "ends 30 November with 30 days' notice" becomes "act by 31 October". A passport expiring in January becomes "renew before July", because most countries want six months' validity left. A yearly plan shows what it costs per month; a monthly plan shows what it adds up to per year.

When a provider raises a price, the item updates, remembers the old price, and tells you once, so you can decide whether to stay.
Things change. Silly Goose remembers.

Will it nag me about every subscription?

No. A renewal only matters if you wanted out. Tell Silly Goose once which ones you are keeping and it stays quiet about those. Everything it finds waits for your OK before it is tracked, so nothing is added behind your back.

Decide to cancel and it opens the provider's official cancellation page, drafts the letter with the right wording and dates, and asks two weeks later whether they confirmed.

Are you keeping these? Keeping it, not sure yet, or cancelling it, per subscription

Is it hard to set up?

No. There is no account to create and no questionnaire. The app opens on a blank line; write what is on your mind. When you want to add the rest in one go, pick from a list of the services people in your country have, with typical prices already filled in. A short tour shows each step once, and only when it is useful.

Common questions

Does Silly Goose read my whole inbox?

Only if you connect one, and even then it looks for contract, subscription and booking emails by keyword, reads those, and keeps just the facts: a name, a price, the dates. Emails themselves are never stored. You can disconnect at any time.

What does it cost?

Today, nothing: Silly Goose is free, with no ads and no account. Some features cost real money to run, inbox scanning above all, and a paid version is planned for those. Pricing will be shown clearly in the app before anything is charged, and you will never be charged without choosing to.

Can it cancel a subscription for me?

It gets you to the door: the provider's official cancellation page, a letter with the right wording and dates, and a reminder two weeks later to check that they confirmed. The final click is yours, as it legally has to be.

I don't remember when I subscribed. Does that matter?

For a monthly plan, no: you can cancel any time, so no date is needed. For a yearly plan or a fixed contract the date matters, and Silly Goose can work it out from the day your card was last charged, from a forwarded invoice, or from roughly when you signed up.

Which countries does it work in?

Any. Dates, currencies and amounts follow your country. The ready-made lists of services exist for Germany, the UK, the US, Spain and Israel so far, and anything else can be typed in.
